Depreciation of Closely Related Plant Assets
Closely related plant assets are those assets necessary to extract the resource.
If the life of the asset is longer than the life of the resource, it is depreciated on the same basis as the depletion is computed.
If the life of the asset is shorter than the life of the resource, it is depreciated over a shorter life.
